What is an escape room?
An Escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints and strategies. The objective is to solve the mystery and escape within an hour.
How long before my booking do I need to arrive?
Please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booking to fill out forms, go over the room synopsis and safety requirements. Unfortunately, if you arrive late your tickets cannot be refunded or rebooked.
Can I take photos or videos in the room?
No mobile phones or recording devices are allowed in our rooms, should you bring them with you then we can store them securely in our safe while you play. Additionally we ask that you don’t divulge any of the clues, hints or strategies to any friends, family or public person so as not to spoil the experience for anyone else.
Is there an age restriction?
The Magical Chamber is designed with children in mind and comes with a ‘Low’ difficulty rating which is also ideal for first time users, this room has an age limit of 7+ (all children must be accompanied by at least one adult), our other two rooms are strictly 18+ due to the room content.
How do I book?
You book online via our website, once you have clicked on your desired time slot you have 15 minutes to complete your payment and secure your booking. Please note all bookings are none refundable, so please check the time and date carefully before booking.
Are there actors in the room?
There could be, our room synopsis’s and clues will change on a monthly/quarterly basis to keep a degree of variety and excitement.
I want a private room, but we don’t fill all the slots is this doable?
Yes, however, you would need to purchase all the slots should you wish to have exclusivity in a room, otherwise another group can book the remaining slots. We do offer private bookings outside of opening hours, please call 01228 511155 to discuss.
Can I get a refund or reschedule my booking?
All bookings are strictly none refundable, they can be transferred to another person with 72 hours’ notice.
I don’t want to participate, is there somewhere I can wait?
Yes, we have a seating area where you can purchase hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Do you have party packages?
Yes we do, please email to enquire, we will also have a variety of craft sessions for children and evening entertainment for adults.
Do you have customer parking?
We have limited customer parking after 5.30pm on Weekdays and all day Weekends. Permits are available from reception on a first come, first served basis.
Do you have disabled access?
Our escape rooms are wheel chair accessible - please make a note on your booking and our staff will meet you to arrange alternative access.
